Lussobound 5 Year Warranty Terms and Conditions

Your 5 Year Warranty

Your Lussobound luggage is backed by our 5 Year Warranty, covering faults arising from defective workmanship and/or materials within 5 years from the date of purchase. If you wish to make a claim under this warranty, please contact us at info@lussobound.com.au with your original proof of purchase. We will guide you through the return process, during which the item will be evaluated by our repair team.
If the damage is determined to be due to defective workmanship or materials, we will repair or replace the luggage free of charge. Please note that the evaluation and repair process may take time, so consider this when planning your travels.

Exclusions
This 5 Year Warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by mishandling by carriers, abuse, misuse, neglect, or unauthorised repairs - 

  Airline-Related Damage

  Your LUSSOBOUND piece is built to travel beautifully. However, if your luggage is damaged while in the care of an airline, the responsibility typically lies with them to repair or replace the item.

  We recommend inspecting your luggage carefully when collecting it from the baggage carousel. If you notice any damage, report it immediately at the airline’s Baggage Services desk before leaving the terminal. Be sure to document the damage with clear photos and request a case reference number.

  Should you discover damage after leaving the airport, most airlines still allow you to lodge a report - though timeframes do apply, so we suggest doing so promptly.

• General wear and tear over time, including components such as wheels or handles that naturally degrade with prolonged use and may require maintenance or replacement.
• Damage resulting from improper use or exposure to extreme conditions.

Making a Claim
You must bear the costs associated with claiming the warranty, including transporting your luggage to us. Upon evaluation, if the fault falls under our warranty terms, we will repair or replace your item at no additional cost.

Your Rights
This warranty is in addition to your rights under applicable consumer laws. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major failures and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the luggage repaired or replaced if it fails to meet acceptable quality standards, provided the failure does not amount to a major defect.
